Jill Scott measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Jill Scott's mom Joyce Scott gave birth to Jill on the 4th of April, 1972 at Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Being a single girl Scott was also raised with her grandmother, who was also maternal. Scott was a student at the Philadelphia High School for Girls. After graduation in the year 2000, she enrolled at Temple University. There, Scott worked two jobs as she was studying secondary education. Her goal was to be an instructor of English in a secondary school. The dream, however was in vain when she left college after three year of study and became an aide to teachers. A poet by trade, she began performing at live poetry recitals. Later, she joined forces along with Amir Quest Thompson (of The Roots) to create the group. They ended up collaborating as well as co-writing You Got Me. Through a Roots performance, she declared herself as a musician. In the following years, she managed to negotiate collaborations with people like Eric Benet Will Smith and Common. In the Canada tour for Rent, the Broadway musical Rent, she gained valuable experience performing. She was signed to Hidden Beach Recordings as their first signing artist.
