Angie Harmon is an American actress and model, who has appeared in numerous of television and films throughout the years. She began as a model but when she received international recognition, she decided to pursue acting. Her first acting experience came with the 1995 television series called 'Baywatch Nights. In addition to voice work, Harmon has voiced an animated version of the film 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Harmon decided in early 2000 to concentrate on film and quit working on the TV shows. She returned to TV after being in films for a couple of episodes. She was among the few actresses who have taken a photo of themselves naked for 'Allure' magazine in 2008. The most famous of her roles is her character in the role of Detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT show, 'Rizzoli & Isles.' Her role as detective in the police force was highly appreciated and she was awarded numerous awards. Angie Harmon is nominated and awarded for outstanding work.
